Access and inclusion

A useful website should let more people complete the task.

Clear language, readable contrast, meaningful structure, keyboard access, visible focus, responsive layouts, alternative text, reduced motion, and direct help routes all matter.

Report a barrier

Tell us what stopped you—not which technical term applies.

Problems affecting admissions, contact, safeguarding, essential school information, or access to the library receive priority.

01

Name the page or task

For example: finding fees, opening a programme, using the menu, reading a book, or locating safeguarding information.

02

Describe what happened

Say which device, browser, assistive technology, input method, or format was involved if you know.

03

Explain what would help

Ask for another format, a phone explanation, a corrected control, clearer language, or another practical route.

01

Keyboard and focus

Navigation, links, disclosure panels, and forms are designed to work without a mouse and show visible focus.

02

Readable presentation

Text reflows across mobile and desktop sizes; contrast is deliberate; essential meaning is not carried by colour alone.

03

Motion and media

Reduced-motion preferences are respected. The site does not depend on autoplay audio or video.

04

Consistent help

Phone, WhatsApp, directions, admissions, privacy, safeguarding, and family routes remain available without an account.

Tested public scope

Accessibility is treated as a working condition.

The current release is tested for semantic headings, keyboard focus, menu operation, reflow, common viewport widths, alternative text, reduced motion, security headers, and basic form behaviour.

  4. Human feedbackAutomated and visual checks are strengthened by feedback from people using different assistive technologies and real tasks.
Need another format?

Call the school and describe the information or task. We will prioritise a practical route to essential content while the underlying barrier is reviewed.
