Admissions FAQ

What are the current school fees?

Contact the office for current fee information, including applicable charges, payment dates, discounts, deposits, notice periods, and refund terms.

Which ages and grades currently have places?

Availability changes by class and term. Tell the office the child’s date of birth and current grade so the appropriate team can discuss places and placement steps.

What does the school day look like?

English-focused international learning runs from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The day then continues with Khmer learning aligned with Cambodian national expectations until 5:00 p.m. Ask the school about the exact grade timetable, breaks, services, and collection arrangements.

How large are the groups?

Group sizes vary by grade and enrolment. Older year groups may be especially small, which can allow highly individual attention. Ask about the current group for your child rather than assuming a fixed class size or one-to-one teaching.

Can a child join or leave during the school year?

Ask about the relevant dates, current capacity, reports, records, and notice arrangements. Saint George can support transition planning, while a receiving school makes its own placement decision.

Does my child need strong English already?

Starting points vary by age, grade, current language level, and classroom demands. A conversation helps Saint George understand the learner and discuss an appropriate pathway.

Can my child follow both English and Khmer learning?

Saint George offers English-focused learning and a Khmer National Curriculum pathway. Ask about the current structure and workload for the relevant stage.

Should I send reports or private documents now?

Begin with a short enquiry. If documents are needed, the school will explain the appropriate way to share them securely.
